YUKIKAZE survived the Battle Off Samar. Surrendered in August 1945 and used for repatriation duties. ISOKAZE survived the Battle Off Samar. She was sunk on 7 April 1945 while escorting YAMATO to Okinawa by aircraft of TF 58. URAKAZE survived the Battle Off Samar. Torpedoed by US submarine SEALION on 21 November 1944, 65NM NNW of Keelung, Formosa. HAMAKAZE survived the Battle Off Samar. She was sunk on 7 April 1945 while escorting YAMATO to Okinawa by aircraft of TF 58. NOWAKI was sunk on 26 October 1944 by TG 38.3 light cruisers and destroyers, less than one day after the Battle Off Samar. |
